The Best Vegan Cheese, Ever

If you are a cheese lover? Really miss the flavor?  I have a quick fix for that. Would you believe that macadamia nuts can become cheese? All you need is the five ingredients below to make the perfect vegan macadamia nut cheese your taste buds will thank you for. This recipe yields quite a bit so get your fridge ready for leftovers. All you really need to make this is a food processor.

Also for food items if your vegan get Bragg’s nutritional yeast which has a ton of B vitamins.


  1. Macadamia Nuts
  2. Nutritional Yeast
  3. Basil
  4. Garlic Powder
  5. Salt
  6. Lemon

Vegan Macadamia Cheese

This is the best vegan macadamia nut cheese you will ever have.

  • Food Processor
  • Spoon
  • Chef Knives
  • Measuring Spoon
  • Bowl


  • 1.5 Cups Macadamia Nuts
  • 2 tbsp Braggs Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp galic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt pink sea salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 leaves basil
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Soak macadamia nuts in water for at least one hour
  • Rinse, then pat them dry and add to the processor
  • Mince the basil and add to the processor
  • Add nutritional yeast, salt and garlic to the mix
  • Place cap on processor and blend for a moment
  • Add water and lemon juice to the processor slowly and pulse blend
  • Keep making sure the nut mixture is at the bottom of the processor to ensure blending
  • Blend the mix until smooth
  • Remove mixture from the processor and place in a bowl in the fridge for 30 minutes
  • Enjoy on pasta or as a fun dip



This is simply the best vegan macadamia nut cheese. I personally use it in my chickpea pasta or as a dip coupled with hummus when I have guests over. Give it a try, its easy to make and ohh so delicious.
